Fence Rail Basic Quilt Block

This is a very simple block that can produce a beautiful quilt!
Feel free to make as many blocks as you like for the drawing,
remembering to put your name in once for each block you make.
- Choose five different fabrics, ranging from light to dark.
- Cut strips 1 3/4" wide from each fabric color
- Sew the strips together with a scant 1/4" seam. You should end up with a long piece that is 6 3/4" wide.
- Carefully cut across the strips at 6 3/4" (or even 7") to make your 6 3/4" blocks!
